There`s a company in Finland at least (Akkuser Ltd) which grinds the cells to dust and separate the processed cells with several ways. From li-ions mostly the copper and cobalt is reused. Lithium is just `land fill`.
TS-type prismatic cells have been processed this way on several patches with good results. They are pretty easy to dismantle to pieces. For iron phosphate there is direct use for the components but it`s still fairly new method and 2nd life cells have limitations. -Jukka 28.9.2013 18.03 kirjoitti "Nathan Loofbourrow" <[email protected]>: > I've had good luck bringing them to my local municipal recycling center -- > they accept "batteries" of all kinds -- but I've only done it in small > batches; no idea what happens if you show up with a hundred of them. > -------------- next part -------------- > An HTML attachment was scrubbed... > URL: < > http://lists.evdl.org/private.cgi/ev-evdl.org/attachments/20130928/0a8b9409/attachment.htm > > > _______________________________________________ > UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub > http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org > For EV drag racing discussion, please use NEDRA ( > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA) > > -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
