My other controller died last week, so now I have two blown controllers. One is a Curtis 1231C which I believe has blown FETs so it is going to need some serious work. The other one that I had been using Zapi H2 lost the controller board, last week, but I know the power stage is still good. So, that leaves some questions:
Where is the best place to get the Curtis 1231 rebuilt at a reasonable price? I'm not in a hurry and don't want to pay more for the rebuild than a used controller. For the Zapi H2, do you think I could use a different control board, something like Paul and Sabrina's controller and get it working again? I would think my perfectly good power stage could be used as long as I can get a control circuit for it - maybe even the one out of my blown Curtis 1231C. I'm open to suggestions.
