For the last 20 years or so I have been putting a diesel block heater in the 
conversions I do for heat, Its a aluminium bottle with an input and out put 
water system, a heating element in the bottom, you wire it to your dash heat 
fan switch, with a 60 amp or 75 amp relay, then to the traction pack for 100 
volts DC. it will cook a hot dog at the vents, this runs the floor heat, 
defrost, dash vents. they come in 800 W. to 2500 watts , then add a hot water 
pump @ 12 volts all tied together, pulls 15 amps @800 watts . I also put a hot 
water tank thermostat to the bottle and set it at 140 Deg, this shuts the 
traction pack off and on when needed, it works, its simple and it looks like it 
BELONGS there , you use the existing heater core and water tubing
