Excellent idea since the island is about 40 miles long and the population is about 170,000. How about the same treatment for Hawaii? In fact it makes sense for many of the small Island nations. However, I do hope the future include generating their electricity from alternate sources, i.e. solar cells, wind, etc. instead of importing costly fossil fuels to run their electric plants.
