Ok, I have an app idea for this. Anyone want to help me vet it's profitability and work out a business strategy together? The idea would entail a tiny amount of cooperation between "us" and all the public ESVE owners.

It seems like it ought to be possible to have a texting service, say, so if somebody's in a jam, all he has to do is let the person at the plug know. If this guy had been in a jam -- he may possibly have been, although I think he was just an idiot-- I'd have been happy to let him have my space. I briefly ran a bbs for my son's school, and I think the free software had the option of letting people send text messages. I bet a texting service would catch on. Plugshare's so minimal, I don't even know who to get in touch w. about that.
