It's bitcoin, I'm sure. There's lots of buzz right now about this curious alternative currency. It's been in the news lately for the bust of a big bitcoin-driven online illegal drug marketplace, among other things. The big deal here is someone buying an expensive car with bitcoin. I doubt that it matters that it's an EV, alas. I'd guess that the Tesla vs dealers controversy is a much smaller story in the eyes of Big Media.
