There are Leafs that need to replace their packs. One fellow has 100,000 miles on his car and there are some hot-weather cars with batteries that are less than 70% capacity. "Seems" Nissan doesn't want to sell packs and won't quote a price. They will rent you a battery...about $100 a month.
BTW, source for crashed Leafs, if you have the right certification: http://www.copart.com/c2/homeSearch.html?criteriaType=fullTextSearch&returnPage=home&searchType=&isFromHomePage=Y&filterBaseLabel=Leaf&oQuickSearch=Y&freshRequired=true&textSearch=Leaf&textSearchType=AND&ftOptions=%2B&searchScope=i&txtAutoComplete=Leaf -- View this message in context: http://electric-vehicle-discussion-list.413529.n4.nabble.com/Looking-for-a-Leaf-battery-pack-tp4666742p4666744.html Sent from the Electric Vehicle Discussion List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org For EV drag racing discussion, please use NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
