I included a link to the condo assn in the original post. But even
trying to sweet talk the condo assn may be counter-productive if their
minds are already made up.
I am not going to fight the driver's battle for them. I am making an
effort to try to hook him up with a temporary charging ability that is
much closer to his residence. As a younger but also aging person myself,
I was thinking of minimizing his having to walk or bicycle to and from
('the old bones and joints really ache when you are old').
The one private residence contact on plugshare did not reply to my
inquiry if they were willing to help. Since he drives a Leaf I posted on
my leaf forum, and I sent the nearest EAA chapter an email.
IMO Once he has nearby charging established, he can network with local
plugin drivers and make the effort to establish better city/county
regulations that allow charging at condos, townhouses, and Apt.'s. Once
that is in place, he will have a better stance for change with the
hardheaded/obstinate/ignorantly-begrudging condo assn.
I do not have an email address for the driver. I included a link that
shows his address and his tel# (but it has a NY area code - being a
snowbird, that makes sense). It is unclear if he is a mind to be
Internet connected, so once a willing local is found, they may have to
either knock on his door or leave a note.
