Hi all... Audrey here ( the other half of STEVE CLUNN) Steve has made something similar to what you are asking for, here is a link to our web page:
http://www.greenshedconversions.com/Pages/BatteryManagementSystem.aspx Batteries in a long series string can get out of sinc with each other. This system gives one the ability to look at each batteries voltage by using a series of Rotary Switches and a wire connected to each individual battery. Along with being able to look at each batteries Voltage, we have a small DC Power supply that can be turned on to give a little extra boost to any battery lagging behind. Steve used two of the positions on one of the 11 pole dp switches to engage the other two 11 pole dp switches. Each switch looks at 8 batteries. One also looks at the "house (aux) " Battery. We have the 10 pos switches for sale.. Steve said the one "caveat" with this system ... is that you end up with high voltage wires being run to where ever you have the switches. He uses 26 awg wire, with the idea if there ever is a problem with anything shorting, it will burn the wires off the terminals easily. ( ohhhh the good ole days, when we did it ourselves !!!... when a little smoke wouldn't cause a "LAWYER" alarm !! LOL ) Audrey Green Shed Conversions -- Steve Clunn Merging the best of the past with the best of the future. www.Greenshedconversions.com -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
