Chinese grandfather builds mini LAMBORGHINI from scrap metal for his

Chinese grandfather builds mini LAMBORGHINI from scrap metal for his
grandson ; When Guo's grandson arrives at school he makes heads turn because
he is being dropped off in an amazing replica sports car
A loving grandfather has built this amazing replica LAMBORGHINI to drive his
grandson around in style.
The incredible imitation Italian sports car can even reach 26 mph and only
cost £500 to build.

Farmer Guo spent six months tinkering away in his workshop at his home in
the Zhengzhou in central China's Henan Province.
And Guo, who is in his 50s, managed to piece together the luxury car from
photos he found online.
According to the Zhengzhou Evening News, he bought Lamborghini logos to
stick on to the car's hood and steering wheel to give it an authentic feel.

The engine is fitted with five built-in batteries and the miniature
Lamborghini has a rear view mirror, a horn, reverse gear and a stereo
system.
"It's just a toy for my grandson. But I can drive him to school in it. It's
much better than an electric bike," Guo told the newspaper.

How cool is that? A Chinese grandfather wanted to drive his young grandson
to school in something better than a bike or trike, so he took to his home
garage and built a mini-sized, Lamborghini roadster replica powered by
batteries from scrap pieces and a lot of love and personal labor.

Guo, who is a 50-year old farmer from Zhengzhou in central China's Henan
Province, told local news sites that he began his building quest by looking
at photos on the internet.

The electric car measures approximately 2 meters long and 1 meter wide (~6.5
feet x 3 feet). It is said to draw energy from five built-in batteries that
offer a claimed driving range of around 60 kilometers (37 miles) and a top
speed of 40km/h (25mph), though, we'd leave a question mark on both figures,
as many sites offer conflicting information on this.

Guo said he worked on the Lamborghini replica for about six months and it
cost him around 5,000 Chinese Yuan, which equals about $813 or €585 at
today's exchange rates.
