That’s exactly what some talented students are doing in the Nation Ford High School Engineering Club. Of course, it’s a totally hands-on experience in this “science project,” but the students are also involved with the project management and marketing of this effort. When they finish, the car will be used to get younger students excited about gaining knowledge of engineering and the energy industry. This morning on Larry’s Look, we got a behind-the-scenes look at the process, that’s taking place in the Automotive Technology Building on the Nation Ford High campus. We talked to several of the students, plus their advisor Matt Lawhun. Matt teaches engineering at Nation Ford. It was actually his idea to start the ambitious project.
