Totally useless information, I know, and of no help whatsoever, but I 
remember when these were launched.  FWIW EPIC actually stood for Electric 
Powered IntRAurban Commuter.  If you look up "inter" vs "intra" you'll see 
why.  

Wikipedia's entry for EPIC is wrong on this, but their entry for the TEVan 
gets it right.
