-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Georgia Tech has had a Level 2 charger (ChargePoint) in one of their parking decks for a few years, and they recently added some more "two-port" stations.
More interestingly, they have designated 20 parking spaces near pre-existing Level 1 outlets in various garages as "EV only" 8am-5pm M-F. Charging is currently free, but will require the display of a $50 decal starting in the fall. I feel that the $50 a year price (added to the usual on-campus parking costs) is a fair amount to pay for an "EV Reserved" parking spot and the use of an outlet. It also gets around the issues surrounding the question of "is this a taxable benefit or not", and non-EV drivers know that EV drivers had to pay for the privilege of charging so they shouldn't feel slighted.
