I didn't get the BMS as I stated in my first message. The experience I
have with no BMS on my Gizmo for the past couple of years and the fact
that this is a pack of 4 cells each that are accessible means that I'm
confident I don't need an electronic BMS. I just very carefully bottom
balanced them so they would each rest for several days at about 2.60V
and then I charged them up and monitored the individual voltages at
the end of charge and determined that 3.400V each average was well
within the safe range for all the cells even if I left them hooked up
to my power supply for a day. I stop mowing when the loaded voltage is
at 20V and all of the cells bounce back over 3.00V so I know none of
them were over discharged. Why would I need anything else?
