I have found Bankers, Loan Officers, Members of the board of Economic development commissions, and many others are woefully ignorant of the positive aspects of EV and ignorance results in "Fear-of-the-unknown." A small paragraph (Below) has been added to my business plan to alleviate some of their fears. I will report on its effectiveness in the future.
The effect on the electrical grid is minimized; each electric car uses power from the grid, or alternative sources, in the same magnitude as refining gasoline consumes electricity to provide fuel for conventional vehicles. Natural gas and coal usage for electrical production will remain as in the past. Petroleum from wells located in the USA will continue to provide fuel for heavy trucks and other diesels, only the importing of offshore petroleum will slacken. *Dennis Lee Miles * *Director **E.V.T.I.
