I am glad to see that many have recognized that even though the subject of
the EVLN post I made may not be to their liking, that by opening and looking
at the bottom of the post, they find links to more stories to explore (like
finding the toy at the bottom of a kid's happy meal).

[Sidebar: Yes, even adults like those toys. When I (was a former hp CE)
would go to a customer site for a repair, it usually had its hurry-up-n-wait
times (backups to finish, bump users off system, etc.). So, I got to look
around while I waited at how the IT staff lived their long-hours at work.

I could always tell who was the most knowledgeable or the go-to-person on
the IT staff as they were the ones with the magic wand & or fru-fru glitter
on their desk. They were also the ones that bought those kid's meals for
themselves (for the toys), as the toys were lined up in the quiet areas of
their desk, and or on their shelves for display.
]

For those that have had to adjust to my new reduced posts (two main posts
per day with links to other stories at the end of those posts), I thank you
for the extra click-effort you have to make to read the items you like.

BTW, I am not the only one that has reduced my efforts. See

Too Much Electric Car News!

The director of CleanTechnica has pared-down his efforts as he feels over
whelmed with all the news stories coming in (my reasons are not the same as
his).

...
The newswires do not have any new EV models from the Automakers at this
time. This is to be expected as CARB quotas have been met for the year (so
why bother making an effort now, etc.).

There has always been a strong push for phev/pih, and now an even stronger
push with the addition of several fcv items (all calling their vehicle an
EV).

...
Those that will remember the past, when the only EVs being produced were
nEVs, I only had news items of each and every city that would approve or
dis-approve nEVs on their streets/roads.

Now, it seems, the news wires regularly have which states approve or
dis-approve if Tesla can sell in their state (a good measure of how much
influence the Auto-Dealerships Assn. has bought in that state).

And I also find the announcements of "We too" have EVSE. When I read these,
I can tell how new EVSE are to the writer's minds: whether it is about
'those new fangled Electric-things' or if the announcement was written to
entice drivers to come spend money in their fair-city while they charge.

OT
The plugin community has over a year before the possibility of a
administrative regime change (either stay the same or un-do all the good to
the EV-cause that has happened).
/OT

Until then we can look forward to next year where the CARB quotas will be
reset and the automaker will once again begin to vy for their share of the
EV market, so they can sell their more profitable vehicles that have an ice.
