This is great news but not surprising regarding the price as I have never understood why the cell packs were touted as being a huge expense on EV's. The price paid by the guy in the street for small quantities always going to be a minimum of 100% higher as my own 36kWh pack was around £8000 two years ago before tax.
Also, using 70% maximum capacity as the point to replace them is debatable and down to the owner as many users could run with a much lower range. -- View this message in context: http://electric-vehicle-discussion-list.413529.n4.nabble.com/EVLN-5-5k-dealer-swaps-in-improved-Leaf-pack-with-better-chemistry-tp4670230p4670231.html Sent from the Electric Vehicle Discussion List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org For EV drag racing discussion, please use NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
