But an EV is not 100% efficient either. And since the purpose of the statement is a comparison between Gas and EV's, then we have to account for the fact that the EV loses a lot of energy before it moves the car too. So I used a common comparative figure that an EV uses about 30% of the energy of a gas car to come up with the 70%...
