Hi all, This weekend was the International Plug In Day in Hermosillo MX ( http://www.diadelautoelectrico.org/). It was great! There were 3 cars from Tucson, my 2000 Insight (hybrid), EV Jerry took his Spirit of DC (Prius) and Clarence trailered his Karmen Ghia conversion. We had a police escort from the Nogales border to Hermosillo since we were supposed to have some more cars, including a Tesla Roadster, but they couldn't make it.

There were 2 people ready to buy the Leafs right then! It was really fun to explain everything, and since my Spanish is so bad, I always got somebody to translate what I was explaining, which gave me a little time to think about the next thing I was going to say. And the questions were so great, so much interest. I think they are very tired of gasoline. I found the enthusiasm very real and sincere. There were also electric bikes and segways that were constantly being ridden around. Marco had 2 of his EVSE's to show off along with some of the EV equipment that he is selling on line, www.energyev.com and I brought one of my TucsonEV-SE's to show off.
