Hi Bob, I was a driver in the 1968 Great Electric Car Race for Caltech along with Ron Gremban and Wally Rippel. I joined Electric Fuel Propulsion in 1970 and went to Cornell and helped prep the AMC Hornet pure electric entrant that won first place. I also helped prep the second place car. Mostly, I remember the MIT turbine car burning all the leaves off of branches overhanging the street. George Swartz
