During a mid-day PST program schedule a VW ad has the egolf EV as part of a line up of their vehicles, all in a dash to the automotive-show podium (each racing to show themselves off to the public first). Amongst those vehicles, and not taking a back-row, is the egolf EV. [video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kf9sBa8a_U The all-new Volkswagen Golf family stars in “Podium Race” Commercial how Nov 25, 2014 ] 6 seconds into this 24 second video, the driver runs to the rear of the egolf to unplug the L2 j1772 coupler, and dashes without any its-electric-so-it-is-different muss, and just-as-strongly competes with the three other VW ice models shown. IMO this is the way all EV ads should be: just as good / just as worthy as their other models/vehicles. I especially like the unbiased effort to NOT point out it is Electric so-it-is-different like all the other video ads I have seen.
