Lee Hart is right, the only people that will benefit the New and Improved, and a free set of stake knives with every purchage will be class action lawyers. SDCs may and probably will come to pass, but that means I dont have to have one, or will I ever come to the point of having one. The cars now days have so much teckno crap in them that you have to have a degree from NASA to open the hood. simple always works, complexity is the mother of all screw ups . I refuse to work on them in my shop, Yes I build EV conversion but I also work on other vehicles that come to my shop. Even tractors and combines, You take the money when it comes..But you also send it away if its to much of a head ache. or a future wife
Lots of people have said good things here about SDCs, Some want them, I personally dont , all that has to happen with all this teckno crap is one good solar mass ejection, and the whole shooting match is put to rest . Its happened in the past and will happen again . Advances in technology are good and DO help I know that its all around us, All I can say is that were going to have a whole new set of Billionaires of lawyers if SDCs ever come to pass . I have always liked big cars, all steel, I have owned 2 rolls Royces, The Rolls I had to rebuild, crash victims when I lived in Fla. so they were very cheap 3 caddys, and a Lincoln + the 68 F250 with 1,115,000 miles @ 4 MPG LOLOL I dont care what gas cost, never hugged a tree nor will.
