Those sound like the same ones Solectria used. I don't think GP will sell them to you. At least back in the early 2000s, they'd only deal with businesses, not individuals.
You might be on the right track contacting one of their clients. Maybe they'd resell some to you if you asked nicely. I also vaguely recall (maybe) one of the several 2004-09 Prius plug-in conversion operations using Gold Peak NiMH. You might check around and see if you can find them. I think some of those converters have thrown in the towel, so if these guys have, maybe they'd have some spare modules to surplus off..
