The charging service will also be open to non-Tesla electric cars. CarTek, a manufacturer of auto filters and brake discs, recently posted a photo on its public account revealing that a Tesla charging station in Beijing has imposed the service charges, Leiphone reports. According to the notice visible in the photo, the fee includes 10 yuan for utilities and a five-yuan service fee. "Our charging service is open to electric cars from any other brands," the last line reads. It is reported that charge targets vehicles from third parties. Tesla's Superchargers are permanently free to all Tesla car owners. As for destination chargers, some are free while other station owners charge a fee. A Tesla customer service representative said that if car owners find destination chargers that are over-charging, Tesla will help to adjust the prices. By far, Tesla has already established in China some 200 Superchargers and some 1,300 destination chargers, making itself the automobile brand with the most intensive charging network. The network includes Beijing-Shanghai Line, Beijing, Tianjin, the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta, where single charging is available. Tesla has not yet confirmed information from the notice shown in the photo.
