There's a reason the S, X and III are as sleek and universally pleasing as they are. If Tesla was interested in an electric motorcycle, they'd be much better off buying the recently-folded Mission Motorcycles: http://www.motorcycle-usa.com/photo-gallery/mission-r-electric-superbike/ This is a fully-sorted and far more real-world-friendly starting point. Just as they did with cars, by starting with a Lotus platform, they could dip a toe into the EM world by badge-engineering the Mission R. It's a product Tesla could be proud of as-is.
