Why not? And of course you want an electric. Ready to pony up about $20,000? Well, if you live in beautiful sunny California between Oakland and Sacramento, Tracy Herrin at Chase Chevrolet may have the car for you. A 2014 Chevrolet Spark EV Hatchback 1LT is available for an asking price of just $19,988. Complete with instant torque and an impressive “fuel economy” (128 MPGe city / 109 MPGe highway), this car is a great find. For goodness sake, it only has 178 miles on it! As for entertainment, this beast has you covered. Complete with Chevrolet MyLink radio, AM/FM stereo, Bluetooth streaming, audio voice recognition, Pandora, SiriusXM Satellite Radio trial, and more, with all functions controlled through a 7″ diagonal color touchscreen. Included is a (UW6) 6-speaker system and eco-routing capability through OnStar. But wait, there’s more. With OnStar, you would get 6 months of the “Directions and Connections” plan, including automatic crash response, stolen vehicle assistance, roadside assistance, and turn-by-turn navigation. How could I neglect to mention what is, perhaps, the most important feature of this fine automobile? The stylized EV is draped in a head-turning electric blue paint, sure to be an eye catcher in any parking lot. Some may say “baby blue,” but hey… Tomato-Tomato. Did I forget to mention the buyer will get the MSO papers and still be eligible for the $7,500 federal and $2,500 state rebate? Still a steal in any color, right?
