Where do you see that? Maybe I missed it. These are the figures I see. US Sales: 2012 Leaf 9819, Tesla S 2650 2013 Leaf 22610, Tesla S 17650 2014 Leaf 30200, Tesla S 17300 2015 Leaf 10990, Tesla S 13200 (to date) For total worldwide sales (all model years) the Leaf represents 35% (177,000) of total sales; Tesla 15% (75,000). The Mitsubishi Outlander, which isn't even offered in the US yet, has sold 60,000 total units worldwide. Another surprise -- 50,000 Imievs, despite Mitsubishi's thoroughly unenthusiastic marketing of it. I don't know whether that includes those sold under the Peugeot and Citroën marques. It'll be interesting to see what happens to these rankings when Tesla introduces its (more-) affordable EV.
