Without those reports that have not been read, those comments made could be
considered as snarky (based without showing the facts), and the public would
assume the worst, especially from a non-U.S. firm (fear rules). While I have
had no public stock in anything for many years, and I am not especially
rooting for this company, it is best to just lay out what each person can
show and try to be fair.

Warren Buffet has his investment hand in BYD, thus explains why they have
the money for all the PR I routinely see (but do not post, so as to not
saturate the evdl), and BYD has resolved what few issues I have seen, thus
have moved forward

Each person (from the inside, or in my case, the outside) will see a
different view, and it is good to bring those facts out. From my experience
of sieving through many newswires several times a day, for many years, BYD
has had several successes in non U.S. cities

It is only in the L.A.-CA area, where BYD was caught having a labor issue
(they had cheaper non-U.S. people working in the U.S.). From my experience
working for, and seeing what was done at other high-tech companies, this is
not unheard of to do (saving their company money).

But BYD was caught doing it in a way that did not seem legal (they did not
have a separate contract company hire those non-U.S. employees and bring
them over to work as temporary vendors, plus use the other ways to legally
jump through hoops to do the same thing). I am not supporting this practice,
but it is wide spread in several companies because there are ways to do the
same cheaper-labor-force using accepted/legal U.S. methods

The above is 2yr-old news issues that were resolved (once BYD learned how to
use the system same as all other U.S. companies) and BYD has moved forward
from this

There are other e-bus companies (BYD's competition) that would have loved
getting L.A.'s business/contracts and U.S. e-support funding, thus, IMO it
is possible their competition that alerted the authorities, and enjoyed the
bad-press/smearing of BYD (those kinds of dirty tricks are not limited to
just politics).

BTW, I posted this BYD news item for a couple of reasons:
- it gave some views and insight to the goings on at the north of L.A. plant

- stated BYD's continued desire to bring their e-sedans/saloons to the U.S.
market same as they have already done in other countries

- and it has been a while since my last BYD news post

Remember that what happens in Europe (includes the U.K.) affects the U.S.
Same as what happens in Asia (from Russia, on south) affects Europe as
cheaper e-Goods are sold there. What happens in Oceania (Oz) develops
e-markets in Asia and Africa ... (and it all comes back to the U.S. as
cheaper e-goods, like BYD EVs). Everything is interconnected and
comes-full-circle. So, those with fears, just try to learn what is going on
all around us, and perhaps re-think them.
