My donor car Corvette is a 2004, the last year of the C5s. Having owned several 
Corvettes, I feel the C5 was the first generation that could be considered a 
"World Class" car. Being 2 generations old makes the price a bit high but 
tolerable for a donor car. 

I have spent time on the NEDRA list but their goals only meet the needs of my 
prototype. They don't care about things like power steering, AC, heat, 
interior, etc. One big issue is range... they only care about  1/4 or 1/8 mile 
with charging possible in between each round.  I got on this list to learn how 
to handle those "other things".
