Send your views to the CPUC (see below) no matter where you are in CA. If SCE can do this, then PGE is next. This is going to tick off the non-plugin drivers: like adding an unfair tax to their utility bill %

If the program is a success, the utility hopes to expand it to as many as 30,000 charging stations throughout its 50,000-square-mile service area. SoCal Edison says the chargers would work for both electric-only vehicles and plug-in electric vehicles or PEVs, which also have gasoline-powered engines. Both must be plugged in to be recharged. The program will be funded by ratepayers through an increase in their monthly electric bills. A spokesman says the rise will be so small most people won't even notice it.
