Thanks David and Lee

The Alltrax document depot has an AXE Diagram
(Doc100-046-A_DWG-AXE-Reverse-No-PlugBrk-wire-dia.pdf) which shows this
diode as MR752 or 6a06. Basically a 6amp diode. This goes on the key
switch/ power pin. You also need a resister and diode down on the
contactor to prevent reverse feedback and to keep the caps in the
controller from surges. I have a new SPM controller on order and it
doesn't require either diode provided the contactor is connected to the
controller's provided contactor pins. Hoping this controller will give me
better service and the Cougar I am building will be much more serviceable.
What really irks me was that their support told me moisture wasn't the
cause when obviously it was, I would have spent a lot less time
troubleshooting. Once you epoxy something it's nearly impossible to
service, when what was meant to protect fails it also blocks it's repair!

Cheers,
Dan
