Most certainly. CHAdeMO is negotiated over CAN so you need a microprocessor to handle the two way communication. Also, it is required to have contactors and the charger will check to ensure that they open and close properly. So, it is a little bit involved. Also, the charge cord for CHAdeMO is stupidly expensive. The "official" ones are $2000-$3500. You might be able to find someone (maybe even EMW) who sells a 3D printed or really gnarly knock off for cheaper but it still won't be cheap.
