Yeah, Nissan floated this idea in 2011. It's now 5 years later and this piece seems to think it'll take another 5 years before they get anything to market. Doesn't sound like it's a very high priority. Right now several commercial EVs are available. That could easily change for the worse as for the better over the next 5-10 years. EV history suggests that it's more likely to be for the worse, but then I'm a cynic.
