I have a friend that has a 2008 Prius, she just called me and told me that she
took it in to the local Toyota garage that specializes in Prius for service.
Apparently they just called and told her that she needs a brand new engine and
it would cost $4,700. ?? Sounds kinda odd and frankly rather cheap for a new
ICE, I am wondering if they mean a motor. Anyone here replace the ICE section
on a Prius yet? Vehicle still seems to run OK despite having 225K on it. Any
input appreciated. Dach.
