Hi Aniket, It is wise to ask for advise here, since you seem to confuse a few things. If you want to become successful in designing EVs then I suggest you read up on the definition and usage of terms like: voltage, current, resistance, power and energy. Also the behavior of series and parallel connected devices: in series the voltage adds up but current is the same throughout the circuit, however in parallel circuits the voltage stays the same while current through the various paths adds up. Another thing to learn about is AC versus DC power.
You did not specify which controller is used as the AC motor cannot use battery power directly. If inverter is wired up correctly then there are still many reasons why a motor might give no response. For example, some inverters require the motor to spin before they will send power to the motor. This is a safety option. Other reasons can include an incorrect wiring of the accelerator or motor or a bad inverter. Hope this helps, Cor > On Aug 22, 2016, at 12:40 AM, aniket suryawanshi via EV <[email protected]> > wrote: > > i have ordered 10KW 96V of 130A rated current and 400A max. phase current, > liquid cooled motor by golden motors. > > i have connected with 100A C20 Rated batteries 12v connected in series to > give 96V. > > when i connected this in series it shows 102v at the ends. > > all connections are good but when i give the throttle it didn't run at all. > > i guess it ts due to battery rated at C20 > i.e. 100/20 = 5A > (5 x 8 = 40A) for 96v. > > please confirm me that, > if i used 200AH 6v batteries rated at C5, will it work with my current > system. > > waiting for an early reply, > thanks in advanced. > > -- > View this message in context: > http://electric-vehicle-discussion-list.413529.n4.nabble.com/Selecting-C-rating-of-battery-tp4683391.html > Sent from the Electric Vehicle Discussion List mailing list archive at > Nabble.com. > _______________________________________________ > UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub > http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org > Read EVAngel's EV News at http://evdl.org/evln/ > Please discuss EV drag racing at NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA) > _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org Read EVAngel's EV News at http://evdl.org/evln/ Please discuss EV drag racing at NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
