Now the company’s actual first car has apparently hit the road in Los Angeles, and it’s already been caught on camera. Unfortunately, the car is heavily disguised, with camouflage material covering the entire exterior. Even the wheels are hidden from view. However, EV-blog Electrek says it can confirm this really is Faraday Future’s first car, noting that it lines up with earlier reports of a high-end electric SUV or crossover. Faraday’s new vehicle is also expected to cost upwards of $100,000. It should offer a new Advanced driver assistance system (ADAS). The company was previously spotted testing its self-driving technology in LA using a modified Lincoln MKZ, but this may be the first time its own design is hitting the streets in public. Faraday Future still hasn’t revealed a specific roadmap for its first car. The company previously announced plans for a factory just outside San Francisco thats’ not far from Tesla’s facility, but it could be a couple more years before production actually kicks off. In the meantime, take a look at the gorgeous FFZERO1 in the gallery below. Just don’t expect Faraday’s first consumer vehicle to look anything like this.
