Who else than a few rare EVangelists would want to install a curbside charger if they have a driveway and/or garage, since you have reserved parking over there and no issues with installing a charger on your home or garage wall (or even just an outlet) while this is a major issue on a curb in the public right-of-way. I know Sven Thesen in Palo Alto has the first official installed curbside public charger (Otmar had a curbside charging solution much earlier, but no official approval to do so) and Sven is a true EVangelist about it, see the website about his home at projectgreenhome.org (his own designation of himself is EV consultant)
