Mike,
I think that GM is still of the mindset that they are "forced" to build
EVs by regulations, so now the federal govt is changing significantly,
they also change their plans to what they really want to do.
California's state laws are not likely to change soon, so that is why
they do not change their plans here, but they show their true motives in
their change of plans and it looks like they actually do not want to
promote EVs, just beat Tesla if they have to make EVs and if they don't
then Tesla is no competition or so they think. Time will tell...
