My emails directly to you seem to be disappearing....
Hi John,
I'm "replying to all" in hopes that this will reach you.
I got an email from you on 1/9/17, and replied to it at 3:34pm Central
time. Did you not get my reply? Here it is again:

Hi John,
Yes, I saw your email to Peter this morning. I had contacted him last
night, and so was "first in line". But you're right... I don't relish
towing a car through the mountains in the dead of winter!
I bought some used lithiums from Cor van der Water (in Fresno CA), and
was planning to drive out to pick them up anyway when Peter's offer
arrived. Hillsboro OR is out of the way, but it would be possible for me
to get there, and move it to some storage location until better weather.
I have emailed John Wayland about storing it, as he's pretty close.
My plan was to fix it up for my son. I've offered him my LeCar, but it's
"too weird" for his tastes. He's driving a Chevy Colorado pickup now, so
the S10 would fit his sensibilities. I have enough EV parts in my
"junkbox" to replace the controller, batteries, and charger. But it
would be nice to have a glider with all the ICE parts removed the motor
already in.
But you're a lot closer, and if you have an immediate need for it, I can
step aside for you.

Teaching children to program goes against the grain of modern education.
Just imagine the chaos if they learned to think logically, plan, create,
implement, test, and execute!
