So what kind of solar gets 5 miles a day? Maybe the VW bus in Santa Cruz with Solar. The car I mentioned would take a few days to charge fully. It is certainly not as efficient as Stella or Stella Lux. which will charge in 10 hours of sunlight and have over 900 miles range..so far it takes two days to use all the range...and of course part of it is the 200 miles it will gain while driving...so with the battery full the solar panels act like range extenders. They also stop at 5pm and put the car on a ramp to charge further. Specifications below. Lawrence Rhodes
