The concept was unveiled at the Beijing Motor Show and is named as the H500. The H500 follows the design language of the H600 that the brand showcased last year but is smaller in dimensions. The design house, Pininfarina, has a Hong-Kong-based partner – Hybrid Kinetic Group (HK) – and both the brands work together on electric car concepts. The car follows a very sleek design language with smooth contours. It gets a downward sloping nose blending with the raised fenders and a narrow vertically slat grille. The grille looks inspired by the Maserati’s design but gets a different logo on the front. The car also gets a very flowing front bumper with futuristic looking fog lamps. The concept model also gets sleek looking design lines on the bonnet of the vehicle. On the inside, the car looks like a sci-fi museum. It gets a large digital display in place of the instrument cluster and even a bigger screen above it which runs as wide as the dashboard itself. There is a third screen placed in the central console that takes care of the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and air conditioning) and infotainment unit. That’s not all, there are many more screens on the door panels and in between the seats, but we are unsure about their functionality ... It is not known when the production version will come out but China has been leading the electric vehicle race and is expected to get such futuristic models soon. India is still quite a few years behind when it comes to the adoption of electric vehicles ...
