Crews blocked part of Odell Avenue and Robert Street to fight the flames. Fire officials tell 12 News an electric lawn mower started smoking, so the owner of the lawn mower pushed it into the garage and then it went up in flames. Endicott, Endwell, Vestal and West Corners fire all responded to the scene, as did Union Ambulance and Endicott police. Fire Chief Joseph Griswold said it took 10 to 15 minutes to put out the fire. Authorities say they are not aware of any injuries.
