Probably not much, except that it affects the motor rotation direction. IIRC, the procedure with the earlier Brusa (AMC-xxx) inverters was to connect the position encoder wheel, connect the hiigh power motor leads in any order, and apply power. If the motor ran slowly or erratically, you swapped the inverter's wye-delta configuration (being Europeans, Brusa called it star and delta). This was done via a jumper or switch connected to the DB-25 connector. If the motor then ran backwards, you swapped any 2 high power motor leads, and you were in business. You probably already have the old AMC manuals, the UMOC manual, and the DMOC 445/645 manual; but if not, you'll find them in the EVDL library http://evdl.org/lib/ Hope this helps.
