The Transportation and Energy Working Groups of the Center for an Ecology-Based Economy and the Maine Electric Vehicle Association will host this event as part of National Drive Electric Week, which also features events in South Portland and elsewhere throughout the state. The event will celebrate CEBE’s ongoing installation of its Western Maine EV Charging Network and feature guest speakers, as well as test drives and rides of electric cars such as a VW e-Golf, Nissan Leaf, Kia Soul EV, Chevy Bolt, Teslas, and more. eBikes will also be featured and refreshments will be available.
