The reckless bike rider did not appear to brake or even try to change lanes
before the collision

A drunk electric bike owner who rode the wrong way on a busy road managed to
survive slamming head on into a car at full speed.

The terrifying moment was caught on dashcam by the driver, who later
revealed he tried to slow down before the collision.

However the e-bike rider did not appear to brake or even try to change lanes
before the crash .

The clip shows the driver travelling on Huandao Main Road in Xiamen city in
East China's Fujian province when the e-bike suddenly comes into view.

The rider, who reports said was intoxicated at the time, uses the innermost
lane and drives straight into the path of the car, slamming head-on into the
vehicle and launching himself in the air.

The biker spins once through the air before being thrown backwards onto the
road, where he lies seemingly lifeless.
Dashcam footage captured the bike owner riding the wrong way

According to reports, paramedics arrived to find the e-biker alive but
suffering a large cut on his forehead measuring about 3.15 inches in length.

He was taken to hospital for treatment and remarkably is not in any
life-threatening condition despite the dramatic crash.
