Is this recent patent what Nissan had in their Leaf’s convenience charger,
Because of the 2 variants of the 12A charger, the narrow bodied one has a temp 
sensor in the plug.
That is probably *after* 2011 as I think that the narrow body convenience 
charger was the 2nd iteration; the wide bodied variant that has a real 
transformer inside has a standard 110 plug.
