I know that Lithium batteries perform worse at lower temps. But what does that mean?
Charging, or using? which is worse. For example, in the winter, is it better to charge in the evening when I come home and battery is warmer or to put it into charge-by-7AM mode and have it charge the battry when much colder, but the result is a warmer battery when I start to use it at 7 AM? So does cold prevent the battery from accepting a given capacity, or does cold prevent one from using a given capacity that is already in the battery?
