I purchased a Nissan LEAF which was recovered from the recent floods in
Houston. Yesterday was the first day to assess the extent of the damage.
After replacing 12V battery with fully charged one and defeating the fleet
management hardware <https://www.zipcar.com/press/releases/localmotion> , I
still had no 12V indication whatsoever on the dashboard instrumentation
(e.g. open door).

My guess is the IPDM, Intelligent Power Distribution Module should be the
first place to check out but if anyone has walked a similar or identical
path, your thoughts and/or advise please. I have all the OEM factory
service manuals but have yet to acquire the OEM OBD scanner. I could also
use some advise on the OEM or better scanner.

To put in perspective, this is for a long term educational project, not a
daily driver.

Regards,
Dex
