Just one more thing that may be helpful. My Dc-Dc converter may need to be changed. When the lights are on, radio on, and brakes on all at the same time, the lights become dim, the vacuum brakes take a longer time to reset, the radio is weaker. Does this have anything to do with my controller or the lack of power I alluded to earlier . Thanks

My Ford Escort(108 volts Deep cycle, Curtis 1221C controller) at times stalls on me, loss of power when i press the pot. The problem seems to occur most when I have used more than 50% of my battery charge. When the batteries are fully charged, no problems the first 20 or so miles. I don't lose complete power but when I am low on juice and I try to accelerate, the loss of power occurs. Is it my controller? Any advise that I can give to my mechanic who has basically kept me going these last 9 years.
