Does anybody need a battery charger for a 120v lead acid pack? I've
switched to lithium and don't need them anymore.
1. QuickCharge - 120v, 15A AC input, approximately the same DC output.
Has selectable charging modes for deep cycle wet, Starting/Gel
batteries, AGM batteries. Weights 40 lbs, as it's basically a
transformer with a little bit of electronics built in. I *THINK* it
would fit in a USPS large flat rate box, but would have to check,
otherwise shipping will be expensive.
2. Zivan NG3 240v AC input charger, wired with a 240v 20A twist lock
connector, draws 19 amps max (usually closer to 10-15) at 240v, 120V DC
22amp output. Programmed for a 120v lead acid deep cycle 260 AH pack,
probably can't be changed. Has "AXU1" and "AUX2" outputs on the back
(NO/NC/C) but I'm not sure what they are for. Too big to fit in a flat
rate box, but only weights 15 lbs.
They both worked well for me when I was using 20 GC2 golf cart batteries
for my pack, and to the best of my knowledge they are both still
working, although they have been riding around in my truck unused for
the last several years.
Both chargers have a gray anderson SB50 connector on the output side.
The QC could be swapped out to something else, the Zivan is built into
the charger. The QC has a standard 15 amp 120V plug like you'd find on a
toaster, while you can re-wire the Zivan's connector to any 240v 20+ amp
plug.
Willing to give them to you for my shipping costs. Email me if you want
photos. If nobody speaks up in the next few days, I'll be listing them
on ebay with very low starting bids and realistic shipping costs.
